Share

Yardi’s Advanced Solutions Conference (YASC) returned and welcomed 900 attendees, including Yardi staff, clients and Yardi partners. Representing over 170 companies from over 21 countries. This immersive, insightful experience in London kicked off with a general session that highlighted Yardi’s ongoing commitment to the diverse sectors within the European real estate market, our journey in the industry, the very latest AI-powered solutions and the new Voyager 8 platform.

Yardi’s Neal Gemassmer, vice president and general manager for international, opened the general session and was joined by Yardi President, Rob Teel.

Continued Investments & Growth

Since last year, Yardi has grown to over 9,500 employees and 1,500 developers, with 50% of staff being client-facing. Yardi continues to grow at 20% and operates from 44 offices worldwide.

Reflecting on European growth, Neal comments, “Globally, about 50% of our team is based internationally. In Europe, we have over 1800 people based across four offices in the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, France and Romania. We continue to invest in these teams to support you (our clients) and understand the local requirements of each regional market.”

The Next Chapter: AI-Powered Innovation & Voyager 8

Rob Teel took to the stage to speak to the company’s 40-year journey and our vision for the future. In keeping with Yardi’s focus on innovation, Rob provided updated insight into Yardi Voyager 8 and how we have reimagined the platform to focus on enhancing the user experience for all roles in real estate property management. Rob highlighted how Voyager 8’s new interface streamlined how users can connect (engage with data), making day-to-day tasks much simpler. Reinforced the company’s dedication to easily accessible, role-based applications that empower teams.

YASC 2024

Rob continued the session by expanding on our commitment to the development of innovative AI-powered solutions.  Yardi Virtuoso, powered by Open AI’s Chat GPT, has been developed as an AI foundation within Voyager 8. Virtuoso has been developed to enhance operational efficiency and deliver a seamless user experience. With Yardi Virtuoso, the company is pushing the boundaries of property management through automation to eliminate complexity in tasks. Provide predictive analytics with actionable insights and embedded collaborative tools.

Neal later commented that “as real estate becomes more data-driven, AI will play a central role in providing the actionable insights needed to adapt in a dynamic market. Not only does this technology increase efficiency, but it also enhances tenant experience, drives sustainability, and ultimately adds value across portfolios. At Yardi, we recognise the excitement surrounding AI but remain committed to showcasing how it can deliver real, meaningful value to real estate professionals. Our goal is to help our clients stay ahead of the curve and to develop practical solutions that solve real-world challenges – enhancing tenant engagement, streamlining operations and empowering data-driven decision-making.”

Rob continued the general session, switching to our innovation in solutions that help enhance the management of the real estate investment management lifecycle. Providing a single source of truth for investor and investment information. The Yardi Investment Suite is built on four key elements that are designed to drive real estate investment management success. Investment Manager, Investment Accounting, Debt Manager and Performance Manager.

A Focus on Innovation for All Asset Types

“We believe innovation to be incremental, and it’s only in the rearview, with time, that it seems radical or disruptive. For us innovation is incremental and needs to be impactful, it needs to solve problems for you. Innovation for the sake of innovation can be a solution searching for a problem”. Comments Rob.

Both Rob and Neal provided some additional insight outlining our commitment to innovation across multiple asset classes. Rob took the audience through the commercial lifecycle, particularly the introduction of Floor Plan Manager, following which Neal provided further updates on our residential suite of solutions and our focus on Build to Rent, PBSA, Coliving and Single-Family Homes.

Neal switched the focus to speak to coworking and flexible workspace next, covering the introduction of our coworking ILS, coworkingcafe.com and our flexible workspace member app, which is designed to facilitate member engagement, increase brand awareness and automate bookings, billing, and access control.
